If they arrive a little early, the students will spend some time in Mayflower Park adjacent to the ferry terminal where there's play equipment, ice cream vans and great views of the container port and cruise terminal.
Toilet stops will be taken as necessary
After a timely arrival at Southampton it's time to get off the coach and head upstairs to the open deck or the passenger lounge for a good look around. For many students, this will be their first time at sea
It's a 55 minute crossing to East Cowes on the Isle of Wight, across waters which are generally quite sheltered
Up Close and Personal
Get up close and personal with the world-famous Needles! This short boat ride includes a detailed live commentary, which can be adapted to suit your age group or topic of interest.
Outdoor Adventure
88 acres of country park gives plenty of room for your school group to run free and let off some steam. With its big mix of features and attractions, Robin Hill makes a great day out and is excellent value for money.
Gorgeous Soft Sandy Beach
Sandown Beach is one of the Isle of Wight's finest and most recognised beaches, with miles of soft golden sands crowned by Sandown's pleasure pier and topped off with spectacular chalk cliffs. Popular with tourists and surfers, Sandown is a traditional 'bucket and spade' holiday beach with all that you expect from an English family beach.
A Real "Call of Duty"!
Imagine having a whole children's soft play area to yourself for an evening ... darkened, full of smoke and lighting effects, pumping music and two teams of 10 hurling themselves around the place with laser guns!!
IW Donkey Sanctuary
A registered charity providing a secure, peaceful and happy home for donkeys, horses and ponies which have been neglected, abandoned or are in need of lifetime care.
After a short drive to East Cowes it's time to get back on the ferry for the journey home to the "north island" as we call it...
It's a 55 minute crossing to Southampton on the mainland, and an ideal opportunity for everyone to eat a packed lunch before the onward journey
Back on the coach and now it's just a simple case of zipping up the motorway and back to school
The homeward journey should be a lot quieter than the drive down - hopefully everyone will be exhausted from having a great time here on the Isle of Wight and full of precious memories
Again, toilet stops will be taken as necessary
